I highly recommend arriving in Pisa Centrale (Train Station) before sunrise. Take a taxi straight to Mura di Pisa. Why? The sight of the sunrise behind the Leaning Tower is something you can’t miss. It’s magical, and I still have goosebumps whenever I think of it. This early start beats the crowds and offers a tranquil view of the city awakening, a moment of peace before the bustling day begins. If you want to stay for a night in Pisa, start your search with these accommodations. For budget travelers, the Pisa Tower Hostel is an excellent option. It offers clean, comfortable, and affordable accommodation. If you want a hotel with a view, consider the Grand Hotel Duomo. It’s within walking distance to the Leaning Tower, and some rooms offer stunning views of the monument. 

Onwards to Other Italian Destinations: 

Pisa is a great starting point for exploring other Italian destinations. You can take a train from Pisa Centrale to Florence, which is only an hour away. Florence is known for its art, architecture, and Renaissance history. You can also travel to La Spezia, a gateway to the beautiful Cinque Terre villages. The train ride takes about an hour and a half. Lastly, if you want to experience the magic of Venice, you can take a train from Pisa to Venice. The journey takes about four hours, but seeing this unique city’s canals, bridges, and stunning architecture is worth seeing.
