Save Money and Time in Rome

To save on sightseeing in Rome, consider buying a CityPass. This pass offers access to over 40+ attractions, including the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and Castel Sant’Angelo. Read the full description of the CityPass before buying. Since you’ll only be in a city with so many places to see in three days, save time by purchasing tickets in advance. You’ll thank me later.

Where to Stay in Rome

In Rome, the Alessandro Palace & Bar offers a vibrant, youthful atmosphere, perfect for budget travelers eager to socialize. It is also a few steps from the city’s train station. Next, consider the Hotel Artemide for a cozy stay without breaking the bank. Its central location makes exploring easy. Both options promise comfort and convenience, ensuring a memorable Roman holiday.

Day 1 in Rome packs in the iconic sights with a scenic walk! Start at the Colosseum; marvel at its grandeur and snap some photos. Next, explore the ruins of Palatino and the Roman Forum. Here, you’ll wander through history itself! To avoid queues and save time, buy one ticket for the first three attractions. It would also be great if you could take an informative tour of these UNESCO World Heritage Sites

Kick off your day with an early, exclusive breakfast in the serene Vatican Museum Garden—a quiet start before the general public can enter. Immerse yourself in the museum’s masterpieces and marvel at the iconic Sistine Chapel. It’s a bit expensive for me, but it’s worth it. If your budget won’t allow it, buy this skip-the-line ticket and be really early there.
